Okay!
I would be lying if I said I was not most excited about matching mommy and me outfits when I first found out I was pregnant! When we found out it was a girl, that took my obsession to a totally differently level! Fast forward post baby and 2 years down the road... matching is not always easy. Am I right? I realized many matching outfits were pricey or cheaply made!
In today's post I want to share my top sites to find matching outfits... mostly for your little girls *since I am a girl momma, but there are some sites that offer great matching options for you and your handsome little boys!
So first, we all know our kiddos grow out of clothes so quickly, so spending more than $30 on an outfit may seem absurd! I get it and I hear you. Here I have some great budget options as well as a couple of suggestions if you are feeling feisty and don't mind the splurge :)
Before I get into sharing some of my favorites I want to give 2 suggestions:
Pick items that can be re-worn and restyled- such ass tops over dresses or dresses that can also be styled with leggings and worn as tops. Why? Like I said earlier. Our kids grow fast. Sp selecting items that you an restyle not only saves you money, it helps you get more matching mommy and me photos!
It doesn't have to be an entire matching outfit. Sometimes we get trapped up in making sure our matching mini outfits are from the same place and identical! Well... I'm here to tell you many of the patterns we lean towards can be found in mute places. Maybe their outfit is from Jcrew but you find a matching shirt on Amazon!
So lets get to it!
When it comes to finding matching outfits I always look for neutral and popular patterns. This way if a specific store doesn't offer a kids line I can keep my eyes open at other popular stores or even TJ Maxx and Marshalls for something that matches. So I say that to say not all mommy and me outfits have to come from the same stores!
1. JCrew and Crew Cuts: They never seem to let me down for matching outfits, you can order when they have sales and the fabrics are classic so they can be worn multiple seasons.
2. Old navy: Great options for the entire family and super affordable. Online is a better option for sizing but in store you can normally piece together some options.
3.Target: They don't set out to have matching outfits but if you keep your eye open you will be able to find some great options at an affordable price for matching outfits
4. Happy Hanna: Mostly for PJs, but for us this is more of a splurge for holidays or special family trips!
5. Amazon: Read the reviews for Quality but amazon always have great last minute options when you are short on time!
6. Lilly Pulitzer: This is a splurge in my book, but Lilly has some super cute options or the entire family! Check postmark if you are looking to save some $$$ but Lilly provides great options for your annual beach vacation!

Girl Specific:
1. Bailey's Blossom: great Mommy and me outfits for little girls
2. Boden and Boden Mini: on the pricey side but great quality
3. Ele Story: Beautiful and elegant dresses and skirts! More of a splurge but great for a special occasion
Kids boys and Girls:
1. Converse
2. Toms
3. KEDs
